Summary: Rachel is a sweet 3-year-old girl who was brought to us by Masida Mbale. who is a local member of the Presbyterian Church in Chikwengwe, Rachael lost her mother in an accident, and her father is unknown. Rachel lives in a rural area in North central Malawi where the unemployment rate is >70% and the average Malawian receives one meal a day that is boiled corn maize called Nsima. Children often do not receive adequate nutrition and have difficulty learning because of lack of protein in their diets.
