Family & Education

Leman lives with his grandmother, Jessie Phiri, who has lovingly cared for him since the passing of both his parents. He attends Masasa Primary School, where he is in the second grade. Leman is doing well academically and enjoys playing football (soccer), which is his favorite pastime.

Physical Health

Leman is small but in good health with no known medical concerns. During our visit, he appeared active and alert, showing normal development for his age.

Spiritual Health & Prayer Requests

Both Jessie Phiri and Leman are members of Mzuzu Baptist Church. Please pray for Leman to grow in confidence and in his understanding of who he is as a child of God. Pray that he will continue to do well in school, listen to his grandmother and teachers, and that the Lord will provide a sponsor to support his educational and personal needs this year.

October 2025 Visit Report

In October 2025, Agape Evangelical Ministries traveled with a small team to Mzuzu City, Malawi (Southeast Africa) on October 8, 2025. We praise God for the opportunity to meet with each child and their caregiver, to receive updates, and to perform brief health and wellness evaluations.

Leman is a shy and introverted young boy who lost both of his parents and now lives under the care of his grandmother, Jessie Phiri. During our visit, he enjoyed using crayons and coloring books, and he was fitted with new shoes, socks, and clothing. His grandmother expressed deep gratitude for the continued support provided through our partnership with Mzuzu Baptist Church.
