Physical Health

Blessing is a petite seven-year-old girl who is very lean for her age and height. It is unknown whether she may have been born prematurely. She has no known medical history but is slightly anemic. During our visit, her Aunt Juliet was given children’s multivitamins to help improve Blessing’s appetite and nutritional health.

Please pray for a child sponsor for Blessing. Pray that she will grow healthier and stronger physically and excel in her studies. Pray that she will come to know and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age.

Family & Education

Blessing lives with her Aunt Juliet, who is her primary caregiver. She is quiet and well-behaved, though she did not speak much during our brief time together. Due to time constraints, only a short assessment was possible. Blessing is in the fourth grade and attends the Central Church of Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) Primary School in Mzuzu.

October 2025 Visit Report

In October 2025, Agape Evangelical Ministries traveled with a small team to Mzuzu City, Malawi, in Southeast Africa. The team visited on October 8, 2025, and had the privilege of meeting with each child, their guardians, and the leadership of Mzuzu Baptist Church, who helped arrange the visit.

We met Blessing Mhonie and her Aunt Juliet Mhonie in the pastor’s office after the Sunday worship service. Juliet explained that Blessing’s mother passed away while giving birth to her, and her father died in an automobile accident. Juliet and Pastor Frances Kisebe of Mzuzu Baptist Church asked for help in finding a child sponsor for Blessing, so her aunt can provide the best possible care and support for her niece.
