Family & Education

Joseph lives with his Aunt, Mirriam Gondwe, following the passing of both his parents. He is well-behaved, polite, and communicates clearly with adults and other children. Joseph currently attends the Royal Foundation School, a small private institution where he is in the fifth grade.

Through a special gift, his aunt received funding that enabled him to enroll in this private school, helping him grow both academically and personally. Joseph is described as an exceptionally bright and gifted student who also enjoys playing soccer (known locally as football).

Physical Health

Joseph is in excellent health. He underwent a full medical screening and showed no signs of illness or physical concerns.

Spiritual Health & Prayer Requests

Joseph and his aunt, Mirriam Gondwe, are faithful members of Mzuzu Baptist Church, where Joseph actively participates in the children’s Sunday School program. His favorite Bible verse is Genesis 1:1 — “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

Please pray that God will raise up a sponsor for Joseph to continue supporting his education, nutrition, and personal growth. Pray that he will keep doing well in school and deepen his spiritual understanding and love for God’s Word and for Jesus Christ.

October 2025 Visit Report

In October 2025, Agape Evangelical Ministries traveled with a small team to Mzuzu City, Malawi (Southeast Africa) on October 8, 2025. The team met with each child and guardian, along with the leadership of Mzuzu Baptist Church, who coordinated the visit.

During this trip, we had the pleasure of spending time with Joseph Gondwe, a bright and well-adjusted young boy. He enjoyed coloring with the other children and interacting with one of our short-term missionaries who specializes in children’s ministry. Joseph was thrilled to receive new tennis shoes, socks, underwear, and shorts, which brought joy to both him and his aunt.
